Illustmaker v5.0 — Real-time Collaborative Editing. MCP expanded to 102 methods
Issue a share link with mode='edit' and multiple users can simultaneously edit the same canvas from /illustmaker/live/{token}. HTTP long-polling + LWW, object-level locks, live cursors and selections, participant roster. Figma-style multi-user editing — entirely in the browser. MCP API expanded from 97 to 102 methods.
Illustmaker v4.0/v4.1 — Gradient Mesh, Brand Kits, Live Share + Viewer Comments. MCP expanded to 97 methods
Bilinear-interpolated gradient mesh, anonymous brand kit storage (palette + fonts + assets), and 30-day read-only live share URLs with 3-second polling. MCP API expanded from 84 to 93 methods, with editor modals exposing the new features. v4.1 added viewer-side spatial comments via mode='comment' share links.
Illustmaker v3.0 major update — MCP expanded to 75 methods, print-ready PDF, library, BYOK image generation, live trace
A sweeping update adding pro editing features like pathfinder / blend / symbols / clipping masks, print-ready PDF with trim marks and bleed, a parts and template library (business cards, flyers, logos…), BYOK image generation, AI Vision self-critique, and raster-to-vector live trace. MCP methods grew from 38 to 75.
Illustmaker adds a community gallery — remix and comments supported; MCP toolkit grows to 45
We launched a community gallery where you can publish works, remix others' creations, and post threaded comments. The MCP server @illustmaker/mcp was bumped to v1.1.0 so AI agents can publish, browse, and remix gallery works directly. Tool count grew from 38 to 45.
