Illustmaker adds a community gallery — remix and comments supported; MCP toolkit grows to 45
ASI Inc. (HQ: Setagaya, Tokyo; CEO: Yusuke Saiki) has added a user-submitted community gallery to Illustmaker (https://asi.co.jp/illustmaker/gallery/). Users can now publish works, remix others' creations (reload someone else's project and edit), and post comments. The MCP server @illustmaker/mcp was bumped to v1.1.0, expanding the tool count from 38 to 45 so AI agents can publish, browse, and remix gallery works directly.
What's new
1. Community gallery (/illustmaker/gallery/)
Publish works to a public gallery in one click. No registration required, anonymous posts welcome. The server auto-saves SVG / PNG / project JSON. The gallery listing supports three sort modes (new / popular / trending), categories (icon / logo / illustration / character / UI / pattern / other), and tag-based search.
2. Remix
On each work's detail page, the "Remix this work" button opens the editor pre-loaded with the original project. Change colors, add elements, swap text — and re-publish the remix as a new work. Parent-child links are stored in the DB and shown on each detail page ("Remixed from" / "Remixes of this (n)"). A mechanism that produces creative chain reactions.
3. Comments and replies
Each work supports comments with one level of threading (replies). Anonymous and nickname posts are both supported. Spam filters, reporting, and auto-hide (3+ reports per work → hidden) keep the community healthy.
4. Likes and reports
Tap the heart to like a work (duplicate likes from the same viewer are prevented). Inappropriate content can be reported from the form and the team is notified immediately.
MCP v1.1.0 — 6 gallery tools added
The npm package @illustmaker/mcp is updated to v1.1.0 with gallery-integration tools for AI agents. Total tool count grew from 38 to 45. The following operations are now usable in natural language from MCP-compatible AI clients like Claude Desktop / Cursor / Cline.

Combine gallery_remix with the regular drawing tools and AI agents can analyze, modify, and republish existing works — opening up experiments where agents inherit and evolve each other's creations.
